    Discover how our flowing routine brings health and happiness to babies AND moms/dads. Learn exercises and manual skills that will benefit babies and promote age-appropriate motor, cognitive, language and social skills; as well as improve eating habits, digestion, immunity, and sleep patterns for a happy, smiley, itty bitty baby! Simultaneously, learn how to incorporate baby into poses that will help post-natal moms safely re-gain core and pelvic-floor strength; tone arms, rear and thighs; burn calories; boost happy endorphins and enjoy interacting with baby. Utilizing our Happily Ever Active® principles, encourage dads, siblings, grandparents, and other caregivers to join the fitness fun and bonding time with little one.

  • Course Objectives
  • At the conclusion of this training, participants will be a buzz with baby bliss and also will be able to:

    • Recognize current health issues affecting children and families today and how Fit2gether can help!
    • Be familiar with an infant's hard anatomy and physiology, as well as their soft anatomy (energy bodies, chakras, reflexology points).
    • Review the importance of developmental milestones in the growing baby.
    • Know specific yoga & Pilates poses as well as massage and reflexology techniques, their baby-friendly names, correlating rhymes or songs, and most importantly, their usage and benefits towards babies and parents!
    • Understand how specific Fit2gether sequences can help babies grow and develop with more efficient visceral processing, keep their heart healthy, promote muscular and bony alignment, improve strength and flexibility, encourage speech and language development, conquer stress and baby anxiety, and develop babies self-esteem and lead to more happy days!
    • Recognize an adult's hard versus soft anatomy and specifically the changes in anatomy for the post-natal mom.
    • Teach modifications and enhancements specific to post-natal moms, especially for those mothers with post-natal diagnoses of Diastisis Recti, post C-section, and LBP.
    • Learn how to integrate baby and parent postures into a flowing routine that provides maximum benefit for a special time of bonding, fitness and fun for mommies, daddies and their little ones!
    • Utilize breathing and relaxation techniques for quiet-time and soothing meditations.
    • Learn positive touch and happy imagery cues to continue positive biofeedback.
    • Understand how to use correlating DVDs, props, games and more to enhance your class.
    • Implement classroom management techniques to create a safe and positive learning environment and a happy, peaceful atmosphere.
    • Learn supplemental wellness information to help you provide a complete mind, for happy and healthy families. (Nutrition, reflexology, integrative medicine, baby sign language basics, foundation of literacy and cognitive development and parenting tips and trends!)
